THE "LEE"
This picture of Captain Viebahn's boat on the Mississippi
was taken about 1915

THE "IRENE"
This boat was built by Charles Viebahn and William Ponteny.
It burned in 1901, was rebuilt, and sank in 1908 at Verdon's Landing.
It carried 5500 passengers and 6000 tons of freight.
The photo was taken about 1906
